Kelvin Hughes SuperYacht Services
Five years ago Kelvin Hughes recognised the necessity for a specialist Super Yacht section to assist bridge teams in the selection and supply of a wide range of navigation and compliance products. From plotting instruments to electronic charting, our experienced team will be happy to discuss your requirements and recommend solutions.
Kelvin Hughes is fully immersed in the Super Yacht Industry. We regularly attend shows, travel to yards and visit vessels to ensure service quality and most importantly to maintain personal contact. Kelvin Hughes offers continuity of contact through dedicated team members dealing personally with your requirements.
Kelvin Hughes offers a first class knowledge base. The team comprises qualified navigators and experienced outfit managers, combined with a world class warehouse system, enabling us to fully support your navigational requirements in context with your operational and cruising itinerary. Our aim is to make complex issues such as compliance simple through correct product selection and quality of service.
Outfit Management & New Editions, Correction & Storage
Outfit Management Service [OMS] provides the navigator with new editions of charting and publications for the vessels active outfit as they become available. The supply can be either automatic or ‘on demand’ depending on the cruising patterns of the yacht. The system fulfils the requirements of I.S.M.
A team of chart correctors is available to examine, correct and stamp your existing charting, working to the exacting standards set down by the UKHO and further endorsed by CNITA. Our chart storage facility provides a valuable free service to clients who have charting for areas they are no longer cruising. 2-3 weeks prior to requiring the folios back aboard, we take the charts and correct or replace them as necessary.
Paper Publications
Over 20,000 publications available from stock with every major publisher represented. We provide navigational, technical, legal and nautical information including publications required by the IMO and flag state. Looseleaf Radio Signals and Lists of Lights is a unique part of our service offering, and probably one of the most valuable in terms of time savings, in combination with the provision of collated updates for the volumes.
